Ata Calfee

       owner and principal (therapist) of OM bodywork, has been certified in Massage and Bodywork since 1996.  Having survived a "terminal illness" against all odds in her early teens, she has been interested in the Healing Arts in general since that time, and engaged in her own personal studies from herbalisim to healing with sound, colour and movement, until finding her calling in Hands-on Healing while living in Santa Cruz, Ca.

Ata was born and raised in Germany before coming to the U.S. in 1990 and is fluent in German and English.  She also speaks French, as well as some Italian and Spanish.  Asisde from therapeutic massage and bodywork, her biggest passion is Aikido. a non-violent form of self-defense and education of movement, which she began studying in 1981.

She currently resides in Moab, Utah, where she has a private practice in Massage and Bodywork, and teaches Aikido to adults.
